This is a full design package for an 8'x8' outdoor sauna — one of the most popular sizes for a backyard build. The 8x8 footprint gives you enough room for a proper hot room with generous bench space while keeping the build manageable. The design features an 8kW Harvia KIP 80 electric heater with Xenio WiFi controls, letting you preheat and monitor your sauna from your phone. Redwood 2x4 benches, cedar tongue-and-groove interior paneling, fiberglass insulation with aluminum foil vapor barrier, and a tiled floor with a center drain for easy water management. The exterior uses plywood siding on a deck block foundation with a shingled shed roof. The plan covers 14 construction phases from foundation layout to final electrical finishes.
